If I drank on our roof the odds of falling off are pretty high.....I've only been on it once and it was sketchy.

We had to rent a boom lift when we had a fireplace insert installed because the installers wouldn't get on our roof due to the pitch.

The new place is one street over from BLM land so it’ll be nice to be able to go for quick rips on the dirt bike during lunch or whatever. And I’ll have a 3 car garage.

Its not bad in midtown. I personally would have liked to stay closer to town but housing prices in midtown and the northwest are crazy for what you get. A lot more bang for your buck in Sparks.

That's awesome. Wish i was closer, although old mira loma and all the area behind the sub station is a 2 minute drive. Enjoy the upgrade and the new place:thumbsup:

Yeah, prices are nuts here now. We are fortunate enough that we have a big enough lot that we can expand on our existing 2 car detached garage and we have 1,000sq ft of unfinished basement we can grow into as the kids get older. Currently in the process of getting plans drawn up for our new garage. It'll be a 4 car (tandem) have 2nd floor office/apartment. If we couldn't build that we would probably be looking to move as well.

My original plan was to build a detached garage in my backyard because I had a big lot and most of my neighbors did the same thing. Started the process with tough shed and got the plans all drawn up, concrete guy was lined up, but working with the city was a bitch. I ended up being limited too much on size of the garage because I had such a small house and they were asking for some crazy shit during the permit process for just a basic 4 wall garage. Ended up being easier and cheaper to just sell and move lol.

Places out here in Fallon are selling ridiculously fast. Good time to be selling for sure.

We're waiting on the reimagine reno zoning updates to become official but it's looking like we will be okay after initially being told by the designer that there is no way we can do the new garage/apartment because of setbacks.

House Im renting currently sold at 445k + over list (not sure how much more), it was on the market for 6 days (Sold for 256k in 2014). It is just double diamond track home with no front or back yard with neighbors close enough you could shake hands if the windows lined up.
The house I purchased out at Kiley Ranch was 376k, same model is now listed at 438k. It is absolutely insane for housing in the Reno area right now.

Oh man this reminds me of college. 4 of us lived at a buddies house his dad had bought as an investment property. I can't even count the number of drunk people that fell off that roof over the years.

    Good times.

Yep, jumped the exit between Pyramid and McCarran this morning and 80 was at a stop with all kinds of emergency lights everywhere. Glad I didn't need to go anywhere on the freeway thats for sure. Rest of the drive in was slow going but moving along thankfully. Lots of tire marks in the snow on my drive in from where people had previously spun out and hit the ditch

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I gotta get the kid to school (late start at least) and then into the office. I hate rolling down McCarran, from the top at Caughlin Ranch, down to 80. People drive that stretch like complete asshats, snow or not.

And while I love my Aluminess bumper, I don't think it repels Priuses as well as my ARB did.
