 four times on the same truck? Was it an issue with the ECGS build or something else?

Yea, you would think if it was an accident like a driver left the dump gate unlatched there would be more than just that one spot.

Two were for sheared gears (one under warranty and one considerably discounted). Two were for my other truck.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Oldest sending 390 grain freedom seeds. She handled that thing like a pro.

She didn't want to do it at first, then out of the blue says "Dad, I wanna shoot the Barrett." Telling her 'no' would be child abuse, so....

Yep. Not mine, another dad brought it along. Recoil feels like .308, and is a joy to shoot. If I had 12k to drop, I'd get one in .50 BMG.

Fess up, which one of you is going around putting notes on Tacomas offering absurd amounts of money?

Someone put a note on my truck at the Raleys on Mayberry offering $2k less than I paid for it in 2013. I will admit that I was tempted until I started looking at replacements.

I just ran KBB on my truck and it was saying $30-32k for trade in value. 2016 with 65k miles. Crazy. I wouldn’t do it because it’s almost paid off but it is tempting.

Traded in our shop tow rig 2008 Duramax a couple weeks ago on a new Duramax, they gave me $2k less on trade-in than I paid for the truck used 4 years ago. Plus it was at the age the emissions stuff was starting to go bad and I was quoted a $6k repair bill if it all needed to be replaced, opted to let it go and they still knocked $4k off the sticker on the new truck. Deal! lol.

Tacoma values(hell most trucks right now but especially Tacoma) are through the roof. If anyone has multiple vehicles and considering trading to a new ride or you don't need as many vehicles its a great time to sell!

Im surprised they knocked any off a new rig. We're looking for a new diesel(Ford or GMC) and everywhere has told me msrp is the best I'll get, and I've seen a few with prices over msrp.

Yeah I didn't want/need a brand new truck, but the used ones were just as much as new. Hell there was even a 2017 Denali Duramax with 67k miles at the local dealer for $8k more than I got a new Silverado 3500 LTZ Crew 4x4. I just happened to stuble on the one I bought, it listed as in-transit to a dealer over the hill but when I called they looked at ETA and it had actually arrived the prior afternoon. Said it was ordered as a demo truck for the sales manager but they ultimately still sold it to me when I put a deposit on it. The manager drove it for 1 day and put 100 miles on it. Big whoop, I'll take the deal.
