That reminds me. There actually used to be a member that printed off business cards (with Bob's permission) for TW and would send out 50 or so to members who requested them so they could leave one on modded Tacomas in their area to join up the forum.
But yeah, in my experience the Reno area members are just not very interested in participating remotely regularly in meets/mod days. Back in the day we'd do mod day meets at our shop and get 15 or so that would say they're coming, then the same usual 4-5 people would show up. No one new would follow through so eventually we just gave up. I mean theres a handful of good peeps here, but in general lots of guys that seem likeminded but don't care to associate with the rest of us :notsure:

I'm bored at home and I need something to do. Can I photograph your products and facility journalism style?

trucks and coffee sounds like a cool meetup idea , when I was stationed in the PNW, I attempted to do a veterans/military offroad and BBQ meetup. did not work out so well as everyone is on various schedules. Also, anyone on here have any other rigs besides a tacoma that I can photograph for a project I am doing for my employer?
Also, anyone interested in some good backpacking packs? I have a gregory baltoro 65L used on two trips, and a patagucci 45l pack never used.

I've never been interested in the whole cars and coffee thing. Seems like a circle jerk of a time, I'd rather be riding the trails.

Regarding meet-ups… I’m in! I’ll even offer discounts on KDMAX tune to encourage more participation. I’ll go as far as providing a raffle prize if there’s decent turn out.

Tuning aside, I’d love to meet more people and see cool trucks. Just moved here a couple years ago and would like to make new friends.

Did someone say mod day? Last mod day I went to was 2014 at the old @RelentlessFab location. I was recovering from surgery and had to bounce out pretty quick though because I didn't want to puke in Eric's shop (yay chemo). Those were the days!

I have a list of stuff I need to sort out but the thought of laying in my gravel driveway when it's 100° out has been enough for me to push it off since late spring.

Nothing major but the list keeps growing.
    - oil change, spark plugs, and air filter
    - front/rear diff and transfer case fluids
    - install another leaf spring in the leaf packs, u bolt flip, and new superbumps on the rear axle
    - adjust front coilovers to level the truck after adding the new rear leaf spring (will need another 1/2" of lift...if it ends up being more I'll have to install a new coil spring up front)
    - cab mount chop
    - grease u joints, control arms, and ball joints
    - install transmission/t-case skids

I've planned a few trips this year and turnout was poor at best. We've got another this next weekend. Leaving the evening of the 6th, coming back mid day on the 8th.
Here's my theory on TW group trips. Trucks and off roading in general is something that's been part of the Reno/ northern Nevada culture for long before Tacoma's or the interweb. People have their own groups of friends they go with that aren't vehicle type specific. The vastness of the area also leads to people doing their own thing. Just my .02

Makes sense. Groups are what we seem to see most of when we're goin camping. Last time we went, there must've been at least 15 in side by sides, jeeps, toyotas, etc that passed us coming back on one of the backroads. We definitely beat that rush.

I'd be fun to do a group thing, even something local in case prior engagements make a weekend thing difficult.

What are you charging for the KDMAX tune? I haven’t been on TW for a while and have been reading up on this tune.

anyone recommend a shop that is reliable for an small exhaust re-route. I bought a set of RCI skids while I was in the PNW, I need to re-route where the front exhaust hangs down by the front dif.
