Anyone local looking for a Roam Case? I have a 95L Slate Grey still in the box for sale on the cheap cheap. $225 takes it away.

Also, need to be pointed in the direction of somewhere to go to get my truck diagnosed. Something is popping in the front end and I can’t figure it out to save my f**king life.

 

I am curious. any way you can record it so I can listen in?

 

I could try again, it’s hard to capture. Like it will pop if you go up onto a curb almost every time. But then only happens sometimes if you brake hard, or turning sharp in and out of a parking spot. The most infuriating part is it’s 50x louder in the cab then outside so it’s really hard to find. It’s driving me insane. I’ve checked UCA’s, LCA’s and tabs. Doesn’t seem like the CVs. Nothing appears to be moving around down there.

 

Check the sway bar, engine bay, engine area make sure nothing is loose, or rattled off?

 

Yea no sway bar left. But it’s also non existent if it’s cold, like the early mornings……. And with the colder weather even after I’ve been driving around it’s not as bad. I’m hoping it’s an issue with the shocks. Have new ones on the way so fingers crossed…… pretty odd that heat has something to do with it. It’s a gremlin with a tiny hammer.

 

What part of town do you live in

 

I have a dash rattle that only happens when the temps drop under ~45 degrees. I swear one day I'm going to remove my dash to fix it

 

What about the body mounts? People have said that they pop and clunk if they're broken, and I imagine it'd be louder in the cab.

 

I have a body mount relo, and I checked that as well, it's a gremlin for sure lol. The fact that It doesn't do it in the cold is baffling. Also doesn't do it if you are swerving at speed. Also if the truck is fully loaded with my camp shit, it doesn't do it, or barely does it. I'm leaning toward the shocks somehow.
