Hope everyone's trash cans are secure tonight.

I took a wheeled one out on I-80 last summer during another windstorm. #TacoDozer

On another note... anyone have recommendations for single septer can holders? I was thinking of fabricating my own but making the locking hinge seems like just enough PITA to lean me towards purchasing them instead.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
That was insane. Sitting on the couch, reading a book, and I could feel the house sway. The wind over the stacks drew down the toilets to almost nothing, and when I took the pup out around 8PM, he gave me the "I hate you"-look.

Driving the kid to school this morning, I was amazed at how many trees did NOT come down.

My power actually stayed on last night. Usually the high winds and poorly groomed trees cause issues. I'll have to check the backyard fence to see if any of that gave way when I get home.

Yeah that was another oddity. I think the lights dimmed once (like when the wife kicks on MegaVacuum 9000), but that's it. It's almost like NVE sorta knows how to run a grid - or at least does a far cry better than PG&E. Though NVE did try to burn down my house in 2019, so I shouldn't get too sentimental.

I got a bit of backfeed down the water heater flue when it was not running and the wind was peaking. Sketchy

Sometimes by accident. Take care of yourself, don't want to come off the tracks so to speak.

Anyone local need a sway bar? I have my sway bar sitting outside with some sliding discos connected to it... free99. If you want it for the discos you gotta take the whole thing and they have seen better days, but still work fine. Also have my stock UCA's free99.

To go further, also selling my turd-pro fox's for 1G. Can't believe we did a full 360 and are back to sunny days and 50 degrees...

Not at all, just been a minute since we have had any real snow on the valley floor like that. Miss it.
