Good luck with the sale @Retumbo7. For purely selfish reasons I hope you get every penny you're asking for.

Also, in line with what @la0d0g said, that is about $3k less than I paid for my truck in 2012 (CPO, fully optioned 2012 TRD off-road with a leer shell). What covid has done to the car market is nuts...great for sellers, bad for buyers.

Im kinda sorta in the market for a pickup... Haven't decided 1/2T or Tacoma but I'm having a hard time paying darn near the same for a 10ish year old truck as I paid for my brand new '11. Not a dig on ya @Retumbo7 as it's across the board. I wonder if it's all here to stay. I did talk to Carson Toyota and the guy said about 4 months wait, and price would be MSRP.

I spoke to them as well. They do a $1000 non-refundable deposit, with no guaranteed timeframe. I asked how long people were waiting and he said "ehhhhh around 4 months" I clarified with a TRD OR or Pro and he said "Those are more difficult to get. We also do a $5000 mark-up on the Pro"

I thought about it and decided if I was going to get another Taco, I'd rather try my luck at Dolan than potentially be waiting indefinitely (or out $1000) if there's another supply chain shortage at Toyota. At this juncture though I'm having some serious second thoughts about selling as I'll be **** out of luck if my van breaks....

Personally I'd rather pay the $1000 up front and have a guaranteed price when it finally came in. I was inquiring about a MT TRD OR.
Also I thought I read somewhere that Toyota had started making their own chips and were expecting to be back to full production by end of January. Probably wishful thinking...

Was considering putting my Taco on "Cars and Bids," and this is the video on the splash screen:

Interesting future prediction of the market. 3:30 is when he starts talking about "Pandemic Cars" and specifically Toyota Trucks. I'll be the first to say that I don't watch any of his videos and he actually really annoys me, but at the same time he does run of the biggest car auction websites, has a huge following, and my logic tends to agree with his.

Has anyone bought/sold on Cars and Bids before? I've bought and sold on BaT, but won't be again.

Dolan can lick my crack when it’s dirty … I’d go to Carson over Dolan even if I had to pay more …

The used car market is nuts right now. We sold the wife’s RAV4 hybrid back in September to Carmax for a couple grand more than she paid for it. Ordered a Mustang Mach E at the beginning of September and it’s being built next month finally. I think if you buy new and get anything at MSRP it’s not a bad deal. Seems like most dealers are marking up their inventory unless you order and wait.
