Spring in the high desert. That's why the truck always has a warm coat, cargo shorts, sunscreen, and hand warmers. Nature will mess with ya that way.... :D

I think the service folks at Dolan can eat a bag of dicks.

My T4R is 7 days out of 3/36 coverage, today. I noticed the front D/S strut was leaking oil on Tuesday. I called yesterday and explained the situation, the woman on the phone could not confirm if Toyota would goodwill it, but had me make an appt to bring it in for a diagnosis and determination. Fine.

Head in this morning at 0830. Service writer just flat out refuses and tries to "explain" to me the in-service date, like I'm a child. This is after I told him the background of my first call/interaction. Thanks for wasting my time, neckbeard.

In some cases I'd call Toyota C/S, explain the issue, and ask them to intervene. But I have a box full of Eibach goodies waiting for me to install them, so it's not a huge issue. I just wanted the old ones as spares for the inevitable time when I'll have to send off the Eibachs for a rebuild.

Is the service at Carson City any better? Their parts folks seem to be on the ball, and really this is going to determine where I get my Tundra (if they ever sort out the wastegate issues and stop being totally unobtanium).

I swear, the first 3 days this week have all been Mondays. I really gotta get that lift installed as soon as the garage is warm enough to not freeze my nads off.

Another reason why I avoid Dolan. I hope aliens vaporize that place when they invade and rescue captives from area 51 and surrounding areas.

I'll be sitting on my hill with sunglasses and a cold beer watching the lasers take them out. "Sorry, did you have an appointment for that?"

My dad had a bunch of non warranty work done on his 2nd gen a few years ago in Carson. They were pleasant, timely and got everything done they said they would.

I can’t really think of one good experience I’ve had at Dolan with sales or service. I bought my truck in Carson and would have had it serviced there too but it’s a pain in the ass to drive all the way down there and be stuck and not have a car for a day.

Dolan can definitely eat a bag of dicks.

Adding insult to injury, I bought the 4Runner from Dolan. Dicks, indeed.

Anyone here done the ecgs bushing for third gen themselves and would be willing to do mine? Or what shop would y’all recommend?

Gonna start prepping for lift and tires. Will most likely get a cab mount done over next month or two as well.

it isnt super hard, there is a tool you need, TW has a thread where you can borrow it for the install. I paid 200$ to do mine in the NW. I would def recommend nates fab, good work and they arent hacks.
