yea I have zero interest in causing a traffic jam.. I’ve been on the rubicon a lot with my jeeper buddies, just refused to take the Tacoma until I had it fully built. Took me 2 years to get it there. I love the trail, it’s unexplainably awesome.

It really is a spectacular trail. If you've done it a few times you already know your rig is plenty capable for it. I have a 97 4Runner but wheel with a lot of Taco guys. The most trouble the Taco's seem to have is at the bottom of Big Sluice. The longer wheel base forces them to take a pretty non-obvious line through the two large rocks and tree.

See that’s the experience I need, I was supposed to go with a friend with a real solid Jeep build, but he “sent her a little to hard” and is down for a while.

Funny you mention that. I'm about to start writing up a for sale ad for my 4Runner. IDK if you've been following but my insurance totaled it for a blown out passenger coil bucket. I thought about parting it out but don't really have the time or proper space. Instead I'm gonna give someone a deal on the whole package. It's easily repairable with a new coil bucket which is a $400 part and still available.

I'm going tube buggy. I feel I've truly pushed stockish IFS as far as possible. Time to step up the build and the size of the rocks it crawls in. lol

You want a 4th? It'll save me from writing up this stupid for sale ad. lol

    3rd gen. 1997 V6 Auto 262K.

Oh, and you'll cruise the Rubicon in it. It's never taken me more then 9 hours to run the trail. lol

They took care of welding the plates in for my CMC and have done alignments for me but that's it.

I really wanted to install everything myself but big projects on a gravel driveway are never fun and the feeling in my fingers is still fucked from infusions so it'd be tough for me to get it done...hopefully the neuropathy improves considering the oncologist thought it wasn't going to be an issue.

You can always try. The only rule is really that a 'kid' has to come along. If you identify as a parent....well....:D
