Do you tan? We raise meat rabbits and have tons of hides. We usually end up cutting them into strips and dehydrate them. We use them as dog treats. The hair is a natural anti-parasite, but tanned hides would be way cooler!

Sorry I’m a softy. I took him down to the park in my neighborhood that’s away from houses and let him go. He can live just not in my yard.

Finally back to my truck. Need to zip tie the black chin piece thing on my third gen, some clips lost it sitting in the heat over summer i guess? Gotta sand down sliders some and re cover with some paint. Also need to do some sort of paint correction cus my white paint now has a haze over it that didnt come out at the car wash. Oh and either fix the rattle on my current skid plate or buy a new one.

But thats all after I get settled into my apartment friday and get used to new intership starting monday. Good news is I still love the exhaust after being away, and all my audio upgrades still impress me every time. Hopefully I can get some wheeling and camping in.

Still stock height for now. but working on that. hatching some ideas

I send my coyotes to Moyle Mink in Idaho. They are not timely but the work is great.

Borax is a great preservative for hides, if you're not going to use them for garments. I use it on squirrels, rabbit, and other critter skins. That way, come winter, I have plenty of fur for tying up flies in the off-season.

Fair enough. I just hope the critter doesn't make his way back to your yard.

BTW are there any rodents native to NV that resemble something about the size and shape of a hamster? I didn't see it,but wife scared it out of our rock wall with the hose the other day. Said it was all one color, dark fur, way too small for a marmot. Short, stumpy tail, generally a flat-ish face. Pretty sure that rules out marmots, voles, rats, mice, squirrels, woodchucks, beavers (saw my first one at the Walker on Friday night!), and stuff like that. I guess a pet hamster/gerbil could have escaped, but no one in the 'hood has mentioned anything.

Any of you have the irresistible urge to wrench on a truck? I'm losing my battle with self control. Gonna buy suspension soon. I don't have a floor jack or jackstands but I've got everything else I would need if I was torqing bolts good'n tight instead of measured...

Would be shocks on all corners and an AAL of some kind. I'll probably order axle shims just in case. Diff drop too to protect those axle boots. Just need to make the decision of cheap with a lot of miles, a slight discount with a few miles on it, or new $

I should do the ECGS needle bearing replacement too but I reaaally dont want to spend 100 bucks just for the tool. gonna try to track one down

There are plenty of tools around. I've got one you can use if need be.

Awesome guys, thanks all for chiming in. ill message once I've got parts together and ready to do installs. I'm also now looking into just buying a jack and jackstands. I'll keep it forever anyway.
