I'll have to double check my schedule, but at the moment that sounds fine with me.
Btw- did you want me to coat your sliders with something prior to install? Powder coat, rattle can black, bed liner, etc?

My vote is the weekend of 8/10. Give people some time to stock up on mod stuff. Plus I'm gone the first week of August but I know the world doesn't revolve around me.

    Hi guys--

New to the forum here. I live in Sparks. I'm thinking of installing this Sirius setup, compatible with the touchscreen, in my new 2013 Tacoma.

    http://www.vaistech.com/dev/sl3s-tkit.php

Any recommendations on a good shop? Or shops to stay away from? I'm just not into fiddling with electronics.

    I've been told: Trimline. Thoughts?

    thanks

New to the forum here...thought I posted this but can't find it again!

I just bought a 2013 TRD Off/Road Access Cab with the touchscreen, not entune. Looking to get Sirius integrated; I spend a lot of time out of cell phone and am/fm signal range. This was recommended:
    http://www.vaistech.com/site/sl3sat.php

I'm looking for a reliable shop that will install; electronics are not among my talents. Anybody recommend a shop? Shops to stay away from? The mfr (Vais) said that Trimline is their local dealer. Any thoughts on them?

    I'm in Sparks.

    Thanks!

So I'm trying to decide now on which UCAs to go with
Camburg, TC, or Light racing. I was set on light racing, mainly due to price, but after some research I've found them to be a headache for some. So should I save a bit more and go for the pricier parts? And yes I know the saying, "you get what you pay for..."

I ran Light Racing and loved them personally.

Haven't dealt with trimline so I cant judge. Actually never even heard of them.. But I have had audio done by audio express, and they do a good job.. I'm sure there are cheaper ways to integrate sat radio into your ride as well.

    That's my .02

    Thanks. Where is audio express?

Which cheaper ways do you know about? Of course, it'd be much cheaper to install the extra radio control head for Sirius/XM and run it through FM, but I'd like to cut down on clutter and run the sat radio through the touchscreen.

They're on S. Virginia just N of Longley. If you're heading south, they're in the shopping center on your right just before you get to the intersection.

Yeah that is what i was eluding too, as it would be a lot cheaper to run it through the AUX port. no need for the FM transmitter.. it is also my understanding that you can purchase a kit at the dealership and have them install it. no conformation of this though. too lazy to search through threads. shop around and search the forums for feedback on this product.

Trimline did the tint installs on my last two rides and both times they did great work. Don't know about audio work though...
