Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Indeed. I'd rather chase chukar on dry ground than in snow. I don't care if it's 10F at first light, I'll happily chase the little bastards if I don't have to slog through snow.

But I'll stand out in a river mid-blizzard and fish all damn day long. I never claimed to make sense.

I like about 3"-4" of FRESH, like still snowing, snow to hunt them in. I went 3 for 3 on opportunistic birds yesterday.

Best part of the whole deal was my 6yo daughter was super into helping process them and get them ready to eat.

    NICE!

Is that a certain riparian area some of us know and love? Looks awfully familiar.

I think I know where you're talking about and this is nowhere near there. This was out near Gabbs.

That's a long haul by comparison. But Middlegate burgers, so win.

One thing I've learned - NDOW's chukar survey doesn't seem to get it right. I spent the opener in a 'dead zone' (by their reckoning) and I ran outta ammo. :D

For sure. Its good at telling me where everyone will be so I can avoid those spots. Those birds come out of a little resident covey that I hunt once a year, in the weirdest chukar "spot" there has ever been.

When I'm out screwing around in the summer, I make note of where I see birds and head back during the season. I know there are birds up in N Washoe County, but I have yet to lay eyes on them. I can hear them, but they are tricky little bastards, and I'm not a goat.

Big thanks again to the wonderful people at @RelentlessFab for making a fantastic bumper! Install was very easy, straightforward and the fit and finish is amazing. I look forward to forward to another visit to the shop. Cheers!

Awesome and thank you! You're gonna love it. I need to clean up the bumper where i cut a bit but that's on me for doing it in the morning with a dremel. Only thing i need now is the sides and the rear. Gotta even it up.
