McQueen high school has a sizable parking lot in front and back

Saw a second gen out there havin fun too

 

Interesting choice. If I was to get pulled over for donuts I'd much rather it be a campus rent a cop then a real Reno PD officer. lol

 

Tucked away from main roads. Back lot. Wasn’t the only person there. Unlikely they give 3 people tickets and pull all us over at once. Plus I’ve never seen a cop in that part of town ever

 

Another tree came down and now our road is completely blocked. Looks like it took out the back of our neighbor's truck too...I'm not gonna break out the chainsaw though, he's out of town and I'm sitting in front of the firepit with a drink.

I thought UNR PD are legally state police and can hem you up just the same as NHP?

Correct. I'd much rather deal with RPD or WCSO than campus police.

 

Well over a foot in just a few hours at Diamond Peak today. Took almost 2 hours to get from Incline to Zephyr tonight. Spooner was a mess.

Kinda my thought too. RPD might see that im in a parking lot, no one around, and not on actual roads. Plus my reasoning if I did get pulled was going to be that "I'm practicing controlling the truck in the snow for when I do NEED to drive in the snow, without putting anyone else at risk"

As a school bus driver in Issaquah, Washington they took us to the high school parking lot for snow driving practice. It was a hoot.

 

We've only got about 3". Barely enough to pull the kid around behind the buggy. Wreaked a little havoc on power and downed limbs... @Drainbung you want help clearing your driveway?

 

We had a couple down limbs, nothing major. Driveway is good to go, thanks!

Also, not local though, Ken Block died in a snowmobile accident.

 

And monday night football was postponed. Player collapsed, stopped breathing, didnt have pulse. No apparent cause. They did CPR on field. got an ambulance on field. Still not breathing on his own supposedly.

Upsetting 2 days so far
