Holy crap. Thats crazy. Of all the gnarly stuff Ken did it sounds like a freak incident while on his snowmobile. What a bummer, he'll be greatly missed for sure

I would imagine. There were quite a few people just in my neighborhood and when I went downtown that were getting towed out. I think I've put off getting the backup snow tires mounted long enough so I'm doing that today. Also have some fluid film on the way. Almost had a recovery myself on Foothill when I nearly backed into a ditch doing a U turn when the fire department turned me around as they were working to get two UPS trucks unstuck. Fun fun

I got rear ended up in Truckee a week ago and am looking for some recommendations for body shops in Reno (that hopefully aren't booking a month out like they are up here) The Audi without snow tires had a lot more damage... P1030034.jpgP1030029.jpg

Looks similar to my bumper was, save for the tailgate damage. From what I've seen, the body shops I know of are booked pretty far out. Diamond Auto had so many cars they were parked around the block as their lot was completely full. I assume you have contacted your/their insurance, so maybe they have specific shops they work with that cover the damage.

Fuck that dude. Just upgrade and get a rest minimal Steel bumper. Get a OEM replacement for sure but swap them , and when you sell the truck swap again. My steel plate rear bumper saved me
    Many times.

Ouch, I can't speak on any good body shops in Reno.. you could also get a high clearance rear bumper so that way the only things that look like they need to be replaced is the tailgate and taillights while the rest of the shit gets cut off anyway :sawzall:. It's saved my ass a ton too.

I second this. That's what I did with the front...not that I was looking for an excuse :anonymous:. Just don't know if I'm willing to go chop chop to the quarter panels just yet for what I want.
