20230317_182446.jpg picked up some badass 4WP rock sliders today. Out of every slider I've seen these seem to be the most robust

:bananadead: anyone have a use for these wheels? Or have a buddy that wants them? Came off a 2023 Gladiator Rubicon. Wheels only, perfect condition about 1600 miles on them. I bought them for the tires. 17x7.5, lug pattern is 5x127, which I think is 5x5" $300??. :crapstorm::crapstorm::crapstorm:

I tried selling my stock gladiator rubicon wheels for a good year, finally ended up taking $100 for them including the Mopar locking lugs.
Those however look more like the ones on the wranglers which may be more desirable.

I figured it might be a hard sell, not a huge deal. I threw out a low ball offer and they took it, so I basically stole the package. I saw a few sets on cl in sac for $500, but they've been listed for quite a while.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Happy Monday. Tag applications opened today. Get in line for Bonus Point soup! ;)

I'm putting in for an antelope tag for the first time, so pretty much a guaranteed no-go for me, but getting myself on the list. :D

Quick question for you guys who might have gone through this.

Buying my brother's truck located in WA. 2012 Tacoma. If it's out of state and private party, I don't think NV collects sales tax, correct? Everything I'm looking at says if it's used and purchased/gifted, it should be tax free upon registration. Can anybody corroborate that?

In my experience private party sale out of state transfers into NV do not carry tax liability at DMV. If it were a dealer sale then it would.

Thanks. That's what I've been kinda finding out too, but everything is deliberately vague, and the NVDMV site and tax code is worse than useless to actually figure anything out.

BTW, I'm gonna need front and rear bumpers pretty soon for a 2012

Also, do you guys do suspension installs? I'm gonna put King's on it and I dunno if I wanna do it in my garage or just pay someone

There is no tax collected on private party sales, in or out of state. They used to, but in 2004 or 2005 it was changed.

I knew it was around there. I bought my first car, private party from my neighbor in late 04 and they made me pay sales tax when I registered it. Then I remember I got a check refund of the tax I paid. I should have framed it.

Sounds good on some bumpers :) Let us know what styles you're looking for.

We don't typically do suspension installs aside from our own vehicles. Right now im in the middle of swapping the TC +2 long travel from her 3rd gen onto our 2nd gen and just finished installing the new +3.5 LT kit on her rig. The 2nd gen has some 1-2 year old extended travel Kings and Camburg UCAs with only about 5k miles on them if you(or anyone else local!) is interested. Like new condition. Could possibly wrap up the whole package including install if interested.
