Hell yea, talk about small world. Love your truck definitely a mobber, also your friends are ballsy taking their trucks on that right now, that was certainly inevitable.

Re puttin this out there. I’ve still got it, honestly kinda forgot to keep up with it so it hasn’t cranked in a while. Wouldn’t mind giving a good deal to someone who’ll actually use the bike.

01 yz250 with 5 hours on everything except the frame since rebuild. Rebuild done by Bitz powersports in sparks.

If you own a turd gen, and have bigger tires, and hate how it drives. 5.29s are your answer. Holy shit its like a normal truck.

Granted I only have 33's but they're E load 285's, I don't mind it aside from the MPG. Drives like my first car did. 97 xj cherokee. Slow, no sway bar so its tippy if I start turning too quick vs letting the suspension load up, and If I want to pass something on the highway I'll be in 3rd gear :D

It would be nice to be able to hold at least 5th up some inclines though. overdrive gear

Keep in mind that you’ll be limited on the top end when you regear. With 5.29s I want to say it’s somewhere just north of 80mph. Plenty for most people but also cutting it kinda close for those times that you’re passing etc.

In my opinion gearing + tune = greatness. Tune will help take better mechanical advantage of the gears and more. Also no more worries about cutout

Yeah, I'm going to drive it for a bit, but I'm sure I'll be calling you. If nothing else to remove some of the nanny shit.

Definitely necessary and gives the factory vibes back. I still feel like my truck could use a little more though still.

Getting your truck tuned would also help quite a bit with that, I had @InternationalHarvester tune my truck awhile back and it changed the way the truck drove as well, highly recommend it plus he adjusted my alternator voltage tables to produce more output to properly charge my agm battery.

Speaking of that I need to get back with him at some point as exactly what he described above happens to me, the truck cuts out so I need it re-tuned, it just hardly gets driven anymore so I've just been dealing with it as there's also not very many instances I need to go that fast with a ton of extra weight anyway.

@skidooman, before you tune you should get a supercharger.

Let me know if you need any more advice on how to spend your money :playball:

Really though, after the supercharger a regear dropped a few places on the mod list.

Does that include editing alternator tuning if I add and AGM battery down the road? I'm surprised the OEM battery I have now from 2020 is still going 0 issues considering extreme heat in phoenix+pretty damn cold winters here that its lived through.
