Yeah, I'm thinking security system that has audible alarm and can report to authorities. Also thinking cameras that can live stream so that my wife and I can be aware of issues as they come up. A speaker that we can communicate through would be a huge plus to simply ask any intruders to just close the damn door.

Either way, still have lots of work to do both on the security front and just making the house ours. Planning on basically gutting this place and remodeling it over the next couple years. There isn't a room that the wife and I don't have plans for.

 

Another change in plans. I currently have six trucks and it's starting to drive me crazy so the plan is to sell the taco, 7.3, and the green 4runner and get a new duramax. Once that's done I'm going to sell the mule, get the red 4runner into the garage and start building a family wheeler.

 

What color is the 7.3?

 

What’s the 7.3 look like? I might have a buddy who would like it

 

It's white. 190k miles. Just had the dip stick gasket replaced as well as two valve gaskets. New IC piping and 33s. Aftermarket air filter, airbags, bilstiens, etc. Power steering is leaking a bit so I'm going to swap a reman in next weekend.

What made you decide on a dmax? I only ask because we're adding another 1ton diesel to our mix, but I haven't decided GMC or Ford. I drove a 22 platinum F350, it was really nice but only short bed. I haven't driven a GMC yet. My work truck is '24 Silverado 2500 6.6 gas so they'll be similar, even though my work truck is stripped down model.

 

I've owned a couple GMCs and they've been solid. I like the look of them too. That's really it. Nothing scientific lol!
