I did this run in 2 wheel drive running about 30 lbs of air in the tires and it was not a challenge. I do have great all terrain tires and a lift so that helps. There are no real area's that you would need spotting unless your new to wheeling and would like the help. On the last run we did a few guys had never had the chance to wheel before and it helped their confidence and also helped them learn a lot. They ran up in a 4x4 jeep stock on 31's.

    DO IT!!!

Rapr, bro your double cab on the Fabtech makes my truck look small! Haha

I assume that was you heading south on 395 around 10ish. If it was, good looking truck!

Phantom construction! I swear they are not actually doing anything. I commute out to Fernley, and that whole stretch of 80 has been under construction for 3 months. WHAT ARE THEY EVEN DOING?!

Should be fine in the PreR. The direction we're going puts us heading downhill through the 'tough parts' on the second half, so 4x4 shouldn't be needed. The first 1/2 is just a rough road, Tacos have plenty of clearance/4x not needed. I drove a Chevy 2500 up the first half, a couple days ago, in 2wd on 245/75-16s on Les Schwab ATs, 40psi: no issue.

I do suggest airing down to the 20-30psi range as it is a rough MF the first half, just makes the ride waaay smoother. I'll be at 20psi.

Again, we'll have plenty of recovery gear between us should we need it.

See you guys in the morning!

Just to make spotting the shop a little easier, its the tan buildings with green trim and the 'Greg Business Park' sign in the lawn out on Greg st.

Whats up peoples? Just want to say thank you very much for your Reno/Sparks Hospitality, and for an awesom Trail run. We were amazed by the beautiful scenery and the fantastic terrain. I would say it was really awesome being able to meet all of you and do some wheeling while we were on our small vacation in Nevada. You all are a great group of guys and i hope i get the chance to wheel with you all again. I will post up my pics and video asap.

    Thanks again!:D:D:D:D
