Rental Tacoma Grill

I am in Flagstaff, AZ for the next 10+ days and picked up a rental....had to go with a Tacoma....very similar to the one I have back home, but the grill is awesome. I've seen a lot of TRD Pro grills laying around, but anyone know where you can find this one with the vintage tabs on it?

you get a turo rental or go through one of the big companies? odd to see a rental with non factory parts

Those are just stickers applied to a pro grille. Can get them all over the place.

Weird to see that at Enterprise though.

 

Use some highlighters from your office.

 

Dude, you got 10+ days to get a grill. Remove and replace, no one is the wiser. I'm sure the stickers were added aftermarket by a previous customer. Guilty of putting a harmless sticker on a rental myself.

 

‘Yeah, if I had a rental like that, I’d be removing stuff for my truck too. Swapping parts that need repaired, etc.

What does the bedside badge say? It looks like it is in the "heritage" color scheme too....kind of weird

 

Backside sticker is a "TRD Off-Road" but has the vertical vintage coloring...not sure why this would land at an Enterprise ha

 

That is weird! I almost wonder if they bought it used (with low miles) when it was impossible to land new vehicles a year or 2 ago....

Could it be that someone leased the truck through enterprise, put the grill in and turned it back in or was repoed due to nonpayment and got converted to daily rental because of vehicle shortage

They definitely bought that used. We had a nice Explorer ST in our fleet once that was bought used. We had a tacoma trd sport premium once, too that was basically fully loaded except for 4wd and it had the led headlights that I was 1000%considering, uhm, "borrowing" for my truck when I still had halogens. If I didn't already have a pro grille and they truck arrived at our branch I.... would definitely not say anything here that would get me in trouble if you catch my drift

Edit: we had a few interesting cars that were bought used. A Kia Forte GT, a Titan Pro4x in the quicksand looking color, a base model Porsche suv with one broken air vent that won't change directions, and a bunch of cars that were purchased from Hertz as expected.

 

Yea man. Drive a rental for a week while on an awesome vacation, it becomes part of you. Sticker. Not full blown trd decals.lol
