    Hello everyone,

My current setup is the typical Bilstein 5100s with an AAL pack in the rear. However, I yearn to know what a softer ride would be like. I bought the truck with the Bilsteins already installed, so I've never known a true stock ride. Based off comparison with other peoples trucks (brother has a new tundra, dad has a Silverado) my taco seems to have a very stiff ride. My question is: is there any other setup I can go with that would allow me to enjoy a softer ride with the benefits up a small lift just like the Bilsteins provide?

    Thanks

I've had bilsteins on a Tacoma my wife's Tahoe and a 2500 duramax.....they all ride rough!! I had some rancho 9000 adjustables on another duramax and they rode way better.... without spending high dollar rancho or bilstein is the cheapest option.

What setting are your 5100's at? If they are maxed out at 2.5" or whatever the highest setting is then yes they will ride stiff.

OME coils with Billy's set at 0 would ride better and achieve similar lift

I believe they're set at 2.5. Could I keep my current set up and just replace the coils and lower the Bilsteins to 0 and fix the rough ride?
