    Got issues with both at present. A 5' rattler just got a neighbor's dog in their backyard, 50' from mine. Pup is doing okay, but we haven't found the snake yet.

    I havent seen a rattler in a long time. Seen a lot of copper heads and a big ass water moccasin a few weeks ago while fishing. Got lucky that shit didnt bite me. Was playing dominos and guzzling beers in a garage in the country last summer and went outside to pee and pissed right on a copperhead and nearly shit my pants

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    He's more afraid of you (peeing on him) than you are of him unless he heads for the closest target of opportunity!

    Snakes terrify me, even a garter snake here in MA. Poisonous ones, oh no

    I grew up shooting them and catching garden snakes, so I'm not scared of them but I definitely respect them (as you're supposed to do with all nature). Run across black widows and brown recluse spiders on the reg. Only seen one scorpion

    Being from MA we don't see much of those. There are water mocs in the Blue Hills I believe but I am not the hiking outdoorsy type

    I hate hiking. I like going outside for ranch work and hunting/fishing/riding dirtbikes and 4 wheelers. That sounded really redneck but I'm an engineering major at Texas A&M I swear :rofl:

    What angle does the earth ramp have to be to for a '76 Jeep CJ to completely displace a 9' x 12' x 12" mud puddle?

    I was in Texas in the summer for a National Speleological Society convention, camping outside. It was in New Bruanfels(sp?). It's a party for cavers.

    Scorpions are cool, I've seen them in Eastern Washington. There is only one deadly scorpion in the U.S. it lives in Arizona (that's what the scorpion people say).

    I hope the people of Texas are able to get this through. We have front plates here in Montana. They are useless and unattractive.

    As a former LEO I can say I NEVER, EVER, passed a car down in AZ where I worked and thought, "Dammit if only that car had a front plate!" Ever...

    I wouldn't want to live in a state that required a front license plate. Texas is creating a bit of a brain drain there. Why would a successful person want to live in Texas when they could live in a number of other southern states that don't require a front plate?

    I don't believe I've encountered a brown recluse, don't want to because I hear that they are aggressive. Black widows don't bother me. They may be venomous but they're not at all aggressive.

    Economy is amazing in TX, thanks to oil and such. No state income tax, awesome flag, mountains, plains, beaches, bitches, etc. And I've seen a handful of them closer than I wanted to be. Black widows are pretty chill, but I still kill them haha. I had a good friend get bitten by one and he said It hurt like a bitch. And Brown recluse are pretty aggressive. Plus their bite is painless so you dont know youve been bitten until your flesh fucking rots lol
