Has anyone replaced any of the back-lights behind the AC/Heater controls in the console? Is this hard to get at and worth waiting until there's a better reason to get back there? Or easy enough that I'm gonna kick myself for not having done it already?

Back to square one after the 2001. So...
Man, I just showed someone this in another thread recently. I was going to do a write-up when I have some time.

It is annoying, but not technically hard. No special tools required. You have to remove the entire center dash cover stuff (start from the bottom and work up), then remove the white temperature control unit and take that apart. The bulbs are twist-locks that insert from the back. Check out my image gallery for the pix titled CDash and Temp ctrl.
