    not enough.
Hey all, I've somehow broke the lumbar springs on the front driver seat. How, you may ask? I was stretching and pushed back too hard and then I heard a pop and it wasn't my back. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I thought i'd be fine without replacing it but man does it make it uncomfortable to drive. I can't seem to find any info on the googles or TW but does anyone know how to replace these things? I see the assembly online for lumbar support for <$100. However, I don't see any information on how to take the seat apart enough to replace them or even if they're replaceable. :/

    Thanks in advance!

I took the seat out and unclipped some of the back fabric to look into the seat and et voila....broken rods/springs.

scavenge the mattress edge for a long piece,
heat it to red hot and let it cool,
    bend it to shape,
re-heat to red hot then quench in cold water

    not enough.
update on this. finally got around to fixing it. took a bit but all doable.

    part number: 72760-04030
this comes with the dial as well. not sure if you can buy just the springs but it's easy enough to unclip the cable and housing.

I don't have pictures of everything but it's fairly easy to remove the seat, unzip the back of the seat and get at the hooks holding the lumbar support in.
it's also fairly easy to get the new one started in the right place but the last few hooks are b* to get done right. scratched up my hand all good trying to get it all good. but it's doable.

here's a photo of new v old springs. on the top is the new dial and cable/housing which i did not use. So I guess I have that part for if the cables ever break. lol.
