In this build of the International d2 using a tacoma chassis, the coilover mounts will be to wide on the tacoma 2ndGen. they just stick out to far and will be difficult in making the hood close around them and look good. what would look better is either a set of nice tucked in shock towers. or some kind of shock hoop. as im no suspension expert... any one have any ideas. I would replace uppwer and possibly lower control arms at this point, and would have to go with a differnt style coilover becuase of mounting bolt being horizontal. buttttttt it would make things easier.

i could always just SAS and then put hoops where ever the hell i please. but if i go tacoma for the chassis i want to keep the IFS

Feel like I had a stroke reading that…am I to understand you are building an International brand truck? What’s this got to do with a Tacoma?

I’m using a second gen tacoma chassis.
I added that to make more sense. Sorry

I’d suggest to either use the Tacoma chassis mounts or start fabricating your own and re-engineer the suspension. Usually on a custom build you’re gonna need to do custom things. Good luck.

Which is what I essentially suggested. Any ideas or direction would be cool if someone has done it all ready is what I’m trying to get at.
