Currently I'm running Icon extended travel 700# coil and LR uca's. Driver side ball joint has gone bad almost immediately after the install. They were used so I'm not sure if it was just their time or if the coilovers killed them. Icon said I should be fine with the coilover/uca combo. So my question is, is it worth it to save some coin and replace the bj's with the spc replacements or just bite the bullet and get some TC uniballs?

Just replace the BJs. I replaced my TC bushings already once and have new uniballs ready to put in (pitting, squeaking) plus you will save a lot of money.

That's what my wallet was hoping to hear. How long have the parts you mentioned lasted?

Get icon uca's. Badass! Plus they'll match your coilovers.

I definitely want to, but if I can save some coin right now it will really help. Got a 3rd gen 4runner that severely needs a suspension overhaul and $700+ for uca's will screw that over. I just don't want to replace the bj's if they're not going to last a reasonable amount of time. At which point uniballs will happen for sure.
