I bought a 2017 Tacoma which had a broken parking sensor. Looks like it was broken on the neck under a rubber boot.

Autoparts stores wanted $150 and dealer $200. Well, found someone posted about using the same part labeled as rav4.
Bought this on Amazon for less than $20 and it works perfectly. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MUVKVMY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?
No issues and was the exact same housing and wire connector.
No idea how parts stores can charge so much when there are cheaper versions.

I believe it. Back in 1967 I had a 1962 Studebaker Hawk with a rusted out tail pipe. I went to my favorite auto parts store with my old pipe because no parts stores carried Studebaker parts anymore. We matched it up perfectly with some Chevrolet tail pipe for $7.50. The parts guy also showed me the same pipe for a Cadillac that cost $24.50. The only difference was that the Cadillac pipe had a welded on hanger tab and the Chevrolet pipe used a U-bolt on hanger bracket.
