Try longo or tustin toyota. I got my T4R sema wheels for like 182ea from tustin toyota. I think it was like 800ish out the door for them. Recently too. Like 3 months or less ago.

And yes, you take your truck as it is to whatever tire place you get your tires from. I went to discount tire. They remove your TPMS from your stock wheels. Apply them to your new T4R sema wheels and you slap some new tires on them and your done. You take your stockers home with TPMS missing and you sell them on offer up for 500-600 with no TPMS. That's what I did.

    Bilstein 6112 front 4/3 setting.
    Bilstein 5160 rear
    265/70/17 KO2's
    T4R Sema 17" wheels.
36.5" high all around from ground to fender well.

Get the T4R SEMA wheels. They look good on any truck.

If it’s not been said yet, your tire selection in a 17” will be much better.

I also want to replace my steel wheels at some point but wanted to stay at 16". I know these are pretty common but I think they would look good on my Barcelona red SR. I don't believe they come in 16" just 17" if I am correct?

I'm going for what you got here, the all black look. Is there a glossy black vs matte black or are they all the same and I just don't notice by looking?

The 17" T4R TRD SEMA wheels are more SATIN than matte if you ask me. The 16" gloss Tacoma TRD pro wheels looks nice until brake dust hits them and they turn brown. The matte/satin look hides dust easier and I think looks better for an offroad vechnical. But to each their own.

ah so the sema wheels come in one type (satin/matte) and the 16" come in one type (glossy) so no choice to be made there between types?

anyone go with 18" wheels and smaller tires without lifting? i don't off road with my tacoma.

Limited tacoma has 18" stock.. im sure you wouldn't need a lift for those with standard tires

Oem sema wheels have 4 colors iirc. Glossy black, Matte black, bronze and gunmetal/silver

I see the tundra trd pro black wheels in 18" but they are a ton of money (MSRP 800 a piece on sale for 500 a piece if I am reading the ad correctly). Also has an 8" wheel and a huge offset (like 60mm) so not sure how that would play out.

The new Tundra wheels are 5 lug. Won't work on a Tacoma. Also 60mm offset Sounds horrific

I'm happy with them all around. I haven't noticed them being bad or squirly in the rain so I guess that means they are good! I dive mostly on highways and they are solid on highway and local roads. No experience in mountains or tight twisty roads yet.
