Unfortunately I do not. The front superbumps use allen screws and a free nut, so theoretically you could us whatever hardware you wanted.

Oh dang. I didn't know that..i guess that seals the deal. Wow

That will make it more than just screwing on and screwing off the bump stop, hmm

Edit, why isn't there a nut in the photo?

Have you thought of doing something like this? I'm not sure if the 2nd gen and 3rd gen leafs are the same size, but you may be able to use the factory U-bolt. [IMG]

How will this help me? I don't see how I can attach a Sumo Spring to that

I thought you were trying to get a super bump in the rear SUMO location? I linked a rear super bump kit.

Ah, understood. That does make it a bit more complicated. I can't see a way to switch in between very easily. You'll have to remove the rear shackle every time you want to screw the bump in rather than the sumospring. Its my understanding that the shackles stretch when they're torqued and you're supposed to replace them ever/every other time you remove them.

This is why I want to find a way to use both on the same mounting plate.

Right, but mine make contact with the frame/bed when installed. How would you plan to remove the sumo while its screwed in? (Just trying to think through this)

I suppose you could jack one side up unscrew and then repeat, possibly. I've never attempted it.

That is exactly how you do it. In my case, drove one side up in a curb, slide under, unscrew, and repeat. A lot easier than I thought it was going to be, and only took a half hour

I think you're golden then. You've just got to get the thread size/pitch of the SUMO and be sure to use an allen key to thread the super bump in.

ok guys, I have a question concerning the sumo's, can you use these with AAL and lift kit since the rear will be lifted so they may not contact them after installing a mild lift? I know it may be a stupid question but I want to install them since I am hauling a lot lately and will probably be buying a trailer and boat and was just curious about this?

Did you replace them with something else? And did you replace the mounting plate, as well?

Yes, you may want to measure the distance to frame from to of spring. This way you can figure out if you want the 610 series (2nd Gen) 5", or 612 series (3rd Gen) 4". To compensate for you add a leaf/lift.

You can certainly install them with a lift kit, but they may not contact with the bed right away like my stock height does. Once you load up the bed with weight, they will make contact and progressively mitigate the sagging.

I've seen a few people actually add a spacer to it so it contacts right away.

Im looking at sumo springs. I can get new set of 610's at a very reasonable price from a co worker who bought the wrong pair for his truck. I saw 612's are the ones recommended for a 2017 and they are shorter.

If i am correct the 610's will fit my 2017 tacoma , they just will be in contact with the vehicle frame all the time. (which im ok with) VS having a 1" gap the 612's have.

Theres no real problem with using the 610's on a 2017 aside from the end fit?
