Save your $$$. If you want go this route to deal with axle wrap from weak leafs, for $40 at Advance Auto you can get an Under spring over load bolt on kit. It will just about kill axle wrap.

I think i got a set in the shop, gimme a few I can put them on to show you what I'm talking about.

Or, put the $400 you would spend on Roadmaster towards custom made to fit Alcan's or some Allpro's etc...

BTW, did you ever actually run some cams under the truck to see what's going on?

And that roadmaster springs and the kit they have on them in the front looks like its trying to mimic what you showed me q this kit from the parts store. Ill try the $40 thing first.

We have three 2019 Chevys that have less then 50k on them. Two of them had their rear ends go out, and the check engine light is on in the third. lol

Check into the OEM drive shaft with a double cardan joint installed, cost my about 400 at a local driveline shop. New leaf springs or clamps will help too.
I agree that this is rather ridicules to still be an issue after 15 years? But I'd put up with some drivetrain vibration over the differential, engine, and transmission issue that some of the others companies have had.

Angle finder, some reading (extensively covered here), few shims and should be fine.. not rocket science and no need for a one piece shaft. I had a Tom Woods for a while, but if the pinion angle is still off the Tom woods will eat lots of u-joints ..

I have vibration since the truck was new. Dealer changed engine mounts, transmission mounts, something in the steering column, then new 4 leaf packs, adjusted the shaft angles multiple times, added shims to the leaf pack. Vibration is minimal but still there.

I'm convinced its the pinion angle more than anything. Some of these trucks have the pinion angle up. I can only pontificate on the reason...

They make axle wrap brackets that sandwich the springs together. For those who have the 30-20mph decel vibration, I wonder if these could be used on the rear of the springs to reduce the decel axle wrap?
