replaced factory stereo-still not great

    You can't make those stock speakers into something they aren't; plus replacing speakers is usually a less obtrusive/lower cost solution.

    yes, and i think in another thread someone mentioned that the stock stereo outputs 12watts per channel (this is normal for stock stereos) and most aftermarket decks push the limit around 50watts per channel, so you are already overpowering the stock speakers. Adding even more power would be a bad thing.
