Reading that and seeing the pics really helped me to visualize how the air moves through and chills and heats etc. Nice detective work on that video stillshot! I agree, it looks like it's supposed to be there. And I also think your theory about the fan weakening could definitely be a possibility. I wouldn't want to buy one just to try cause I'm cheap, but I wonder if it's as simple as opening the little electric motor and cleaning up some carbon dust or the grease in the bearing is getting a little stiff, you know? I mean that's more for tinkerer but it's at least somewhat easy to get to right? :D Nice work man, appreciate you documenting it

I’m too cheap to buy a fan, so it’ll stay this way for now :rofl:Taking the motor apart could be a possibility. There’s a small ‘door’ of sorts where part of the motor is visible. I wanted to take the blades off of the motor to clean that as well, but couldn’t figure out how to get it. I’m done tinkering on this for now, I’ll come back to it in a few months..I’m burnt out hahaha thank you sir! Hopefully it’ll help someone in the future. If/when I take the motor apart or replace it, I’ll try to remember to update the thread.
