Not sure if you had the same problem as me, but I got errors P0101 & P0171 after I went mudding. Got too much dirt inside my intake. Vehicle would idle horribly and wouldn't rev pass 3k. Stopped at a store to pick up a Can of MAF cleaner. Sprayed the MAF sensor and whacked all the dust off my filter. Idled funny for a little bit after, but besides that it ran normal again.

Side note: I did notice that my truck doesn't rev as hard to maintain speeds before the cleaning.

    Ex
    Before: 70mph @ 3.5k RPM
    After: 70mph @ 3k RPM

Was the new MAF from the dealer (which is a DENSO) OR the DENSO replacement, like you can buy at Rockauto? If not one of those two, unfortunately, most aftermarket MAF's are not made as well.

    Good luck

Things may be different on the 2nd gen 2GR-FE engine. I had the battery cable off of an '06 1GR-FE Toyota engine for a couple of months. Car started and ran fine after battery cable was reconnected.

It's back to normal so far after driving it.... Typical reset BS (taking awhile to get used to my driving)
