Went to dealer 4-18 and rear springs were replaced, thank god. I had purchased a Casita
RV and had been considering obtaining a 4th leaf (truck had only 3 leaves) or obtaining
overload springs. The one time I had delayed and it had paid off for me. I had just returned
from a RV trip to Arizona. If the weak 3 leaf got the job done I shouldn't have a problem
with the new 4 leaf. I still love my 06 Tacoma, 2wd, prerunner.

Is that the recall leaf pack? What's your hub-to-fender distance after the install?

I'm trying to figure how much my stock springs were sagging since the Alcan leaf-packs that were supposed to give me +2 inches over stock now have my back end sitting 5 inches higher than before.

Yes, this was the factory recall springs. The distance from the rim to the fender is
13 inches. I wish that I had that measurement before the change so that I would
know more about the hitch for the rv in tow.

I didn't realize the dealerships were now replacing those rear springs. Did they send you a recall letter? I've been waiting for mine.
