Since my 2011 was totalled by drunk driver. I've found 2 I'm interested in (1) 2014 TRD Off road with 200,000 mi list price $17,650

    (2) 2012 SR5 145,000 mi $18,000 private owner. The 12 already has a 2 in leveling kit and 17's. My question is what would be the best coilover to lift the TRD not using spacers?

A set of 3rd gen take offs coil&shock they have about 1” lift.
The 17” wheel doesn’t matter it’s the size of the rubber on it!

Thanks, Jeff! That's what I'll do. I wished I kept the brand new rubbers, not even 10 mi on them. I was running 275r17 all terrain. with the TRQ shocks

So this is how I size tires!

    I run 285/75/16.
These are metric! A 31x10.5x16 is what it says.
    285 is 11.220 wide. 285 divided by 25.4
75 is 1 side wall % to width.
    So 11.220”x .75 = 1 sidewall = 8.415”
    2 sidewalls top/bottom = 16.830”.
    Add my 16” wheel 16.830 + 16.00 =32.830 or a 33” outside diameter.
    Stock are 30.468” with 245/75/16
    A 265/65/17 is 30.562”
Rim diameter doesn’t mean bigger outside diameter just less rubber between road and rim.

I did the 3rd gen take off coils and shocks on my 12 I was pretty happy with them and it was cheap!

When I got my 3rd gen coilover a local TW member sold me his.
They were off a trd off-road 100$ ready to install.
Bilstien shocks not sure if the sport comes with them.
