I just found out that my truck had a frame replacement just over 18 months ago, I had been wondering as the underside of my truck looks almost new and its an 06.

What I am wondering is if the replacement frames are any less prone to rust than the originals? I am hoping this truck will be around 10 years or more.

They are "supposed to be" more rust resistant. Time will tell. The replacement frames are just not old enough to know yet.

You got a second chance , take care of it . Look into protecting it and keeping it washed also
