I need to replace my leaf springs on my 06 TRD 4 door V6 SR5. I do tow occasionally and load the bed up often with equipment for side work. I was going to go with ARB Old Man Emu EL095R. Already did the front Springs with OME and Bilstien 5100’s and I’m very happy. I can tell that there is a lot of bounce in the rear. Is this the right match for leaf springs?

There was a recall on the springs, Toyota gave me a new set free...

I have the icon RXT springs (option 2) and I’m very happy with them. I’ve used an icon 3 leaf progressive AAL, also the OME EL096R and so far, icon RXT has been the best. Just my .02

Icon RXT or Deaver u402...choose your weight rating. A lot of people have issues (noise) with the Dakars.

I have the Rough county adjustable shock in the rear because they were Free, long story. But they are brand new, would you guy recommend upgrading the rear shocks with the Icons as well, due to extended wheel travel in the description? If yes which ones, I really don’t want to spend $1k on rear RXT shocks.

If you're going to put any kind of weight on the truck I do NOT recommend Dakars. I had the HD Dakars and they were sub par at best with any weight. I'm currently switching to Alcans

I went with the Old Man Emu Dakar Heavy Load springs in anticipation of changing out my rear bumper for a Relentless one with swing gate and some other accessories in the bed. It is a little stiff since none of that is on the truck yet but I believe some of that may change when some load is put on it.

Yea I read it and I have had a completely different result than he did. Maybe the combination of different shocks in conjunction with the springs? I have not noticed any issues with mine but his build looks like it has a lot more weight in the rear than I plan on putting on.
