    Awesome, I just sent LCE an email asking about the 3rz, which for some reason isn't listed on their site but is still in the PDF catalogue. Man if I were ready to pull the trigger I'd jump on that totaled Taco in a heartbeat, sadly this is the beginning of a long-term plan, I wanna run my 2.7 into the ground before I get the replacement. Low compression, busted manifold, but the 'ol meatball keeps pulling. Helluva motor, why I want another one.

    @ Mod,

    That's probably what I'll end up doing, what few crate motors are out there are probably going to be out of my price range when the time comes (hopefully I'll have time to save for an LCE before mine craps out). I'm aiming for the later motor more for the upgraded manifold than the power, I'm with you, don't get over 4,000 RPM very often. At least I don't think I do, don't have a tach.
