I've noticed some squeaking when riding on rough roads, and I'm thinking my shocks (which have never been replaced, 134,xxx on the odometer) need to be replaced. My truck never leaves the road unless I park in the yard, so I don't need anything for off-road use.

I'm looking for something that will have a smooth ride. My truck is my daily driver, and I'm usually running 65-80 mph.

12v accessory plug right rear bed bin,1gallon air compressor setup in left rear bed bin, 3-window bed topper.
I was in the same boat (except info haul and tow) but from lurking and reading most will recommend as I do now what is affectionately referred to as 5100s Bilstein 5100 on all four corners.or OME (Old man Emu) but they are skirt more cost and frankly I love my Bilsteins a little better than stock. Keep your stock front springs. Hopefully you have had the recall on the rest leafs Completed.

My friend just got a quote to change his stock fronts to bilstein 5100s and the shopped warned him it could be an extra $1000 if the cams are rusted and frozen? His is an 08 with 200,000km but I wasn't sure what parts he was referring to? Something to do with removing the coils perhaps? Any ideas?
