    got a 2001 taco with 135,000. Dealer says i need new shocks and struts. Lota noise over bumpy roads.

    Do I have to go with Billstiens or is there a cheaper, yet safe alternative/

    are you wanting stock height or want to add a lift? you can get an OME Coil/strut setup for around $4xx plus about $100 if you want it pre assembled with new bushings and top hat.
