I saw that the factory ball joints and tie rod ends have no zerks to grease them and when I replaced a ball joint recently, they came with a zerk to grease them. So I'm wondering how do you service these factory joints or does Toyota claim they are lifetime joints? I can't imagine something that has to pivot either in two directions or multi-directions has no way to regrease them. Perhaps there is a service interval where they are supposed to be changed? How often is that? If so, which replacement ball joints and tie rod ends are the best? Should I just invest in control arms if I'm going to put a lift on it anyway? Is it recommended to get an alignment after replacing ball joints and tie rod ends?
