    When I redid mine...
I got the spring kit from advance....
I had to order the star adjuster kit from napa....for each side..
and I think the parking lever also from napa...

I ran bendix shoes for a year....never liked the feel of them...
on inspection notice half the front shoe was gone in a year....both sides...
So went back to oem shoes from mcgeorge toyota....

for shits and giggles...I got the oem cylinder rebuild kit for each side...
takes less 5 min to redo those....like 4 parts....

dab brake lube where those shoes contact the back shield....

strategic anti seize needed here and there...

I would never buy oem rotors or drums......just premium aftermarket...

however some aftermarket parts rust to shit in record time....chassis/suspension....

If you cant get it off any other way....
nuclear option is to drill out those pull holes big enough to get a puller in there with the tangs reversed or pointing out....

While your in there check for weepage around the real axle seals....
keep in mind.....too much torch can melt those seals....
especially that fat outer one that seals against the outer hub...

I tried the 8" puller and couldn't get it to sit quite right. Maybe I'll try again when I give this drum another go. Do you use a 1/2" drive on yours or something with power or air?

I got sidetracked with the LBJ's on my 4Runner, but will get back to this dang drum soon!

It may come to that. I tried it already without drilling any special holes.

Good idea because lug nuts are easier to replace for sure. I did order new drums and shoes because I decided when I get this damn thing off I am going to replace it and do the shoes.

Coming back into Round 2, I will be doing 2-3 days of PB Blaster leading up to my next attack. I just had to handle some other priorities last weekend :(

Just put on new calipers a few weeks ago on my 4Runner, and was under there this last weekend seeing the rust already begin on them. Oh well. As long as they work, I don't care if they end up looking the same as the last calipers I removed, that were probably original.

Keep in mind ....mine is 5 lugs.

You have to order the correct one for your year and lug #...

Takes less than 5 min after you have it out.
