Ok I have a 2015 SR5 4x4 4 door Taco. My driver window regulator arm was bent and one of tabs on the glass was broken. Ordered both new glass window and regulator arm. Put both in all was fine EXCEPT the glass does not go all the way up/wont seal completely. Approximately a 2/3cm gap. Suggestions? Can you adjust the arm? Is it a bad regulator arm? After market? Thanks in advance for suggestions

I mean you tell us if you are using OEM or aftermarket parts.

I've never had to replace mine but I've fiddled with the regulator and glass and everything kind of just bolts together and works if it's all correct.

Yes it is an aftermarket regulator arm
Fit right in and seemed to be fine until I realized the window has a very small gap when closed - not sure what to do
    Try another regulator ???

Did you aligh the motor position on the regularity arm of the old one to the new one? How badly bent is the old one, can you compare the length of old bent one and new aftermarket one.

The old arm is very bent and yes everything is lined up
I didn’t completely measure but it looked the same - damn window will not completely close - it’s just a really small gap at the top - frustrating

If the arms are bent and window broke at the base where is connects to the arm it might be a sign that your door stop has been over extended and stretched out
If the door check stretches it can ram into the window track and from there it’s a snowball effect that ruins all the window moving components in the door
