    Is Toyota still replacing frames? If so could someone point me in the direction I would appreciate this. I’m also new to the Toyota page plus truck and I just wanna see what’s going on with the frame stuff thank you

    Welcome to TW Duane
    If you are asking about Toyota replacement frame for your 1999 Taco.
    The warranty on 1st gen Tacomas WAS 15 years from 1st in service date if frame was treated by Toyota.
    Other than buying a used frame the frame fix is up to the owner on 1st gens. 2nd and 3rd gens get 12 years extended frame warranty from date of first use if treated and failed.

    IIRC the 1995.5-2000 trucks didn't get a frame replacement. If the frame failed inspection, Toyota bought back the truck for ~KBB value and sent it to the crusher. 2001-2004 trucks got frame replacement.

    It was 1 1/2 times the rated Kelly Blue Book price which was much cheaper for Toyota then law suits.

    Then many rolled that payment toward a new Toyota truck playing lets make a deal with the local dealer.

    The sad part some buyers are still unaware of the problems

    i still have lucid memories of that ordeal
    fortunately mine passed 9yrs ago but relatives used '98 single cab did not so they got a shiny new Barcelona red single cab 4x4 boat from the compensation
    i wonder what they would've done for me and my frost-bitten knuckles if it had not, i was prepared...
