At the time, I paid an extra $100 bucks to order mine from a US based seller, and due to the fact the first one was DOA, it paid off...

Does it work with your oem mic or did you have to use the aftermarket one?

Aftermarket, at some point, I saw a vendor making an adapter to connect to the factory, but they included a Mic with the setup. I have been running a Dasiata and never bothered even with the mic they supply and use the built in but an external mic is way more idea. I forgot why but the factory mic type and aftermarket are not direct and need something inbetween.

External is run to factory location. Have zero issues, super clean, and I have tons of road noise.

It's a 200w 4 channel amp and with the kickers sounds really good. It's responsive. Have zero issues running Android Auto wirelessly.

Those are clean installs. Do you still have caller info and song/artist info displaying into the cluster screen?

I like that the back up camera can be customized to just that small corner. I wish the 9500ES has more customization.

I have the song info now displaying. It didn't do this with the factory headunit which is cool. Have not paid attention to if there is caller info and not sure why this is necessary. You should know who you're talking to lol.

It also added the compass tab to my info screen, but no compass is displayed. Would be cool if it worked lol.

After four years, I honestly couldn't tell you.
By the time I got home from the dealer, I basically had the nannies sorted and don't much look at the cluster beyond gas and mph.
The only thing I was concerned with was steering wheel controls and TPMS, and they're good to go.

I'd be nice to just have those working again. The Maestro states that it should work but it might be headunit dependent. I get the Compass not working as I believe that info is pass through the OEM head unit.

There are always tradeoffs. Functional maps, gauges, wireless AA that actually works and much better control over audio quality > constantly seeing the name of a person I'm talking to on a little screen that I rarely look at anyway.

The head unit is pioneer I thought.

Not as far as I know. If it is, there is nothing on the unit to indicate that it’s made by Pioneer.

I've since unloaded it, but the factory HU had a Pioneer sticker on it somewhere, IIRC and that's what you're asking...

I think it’s on the back of the unit. Overall I think it’s a good head unit with lots of power. That’s comparing it to the ones I’ve installed on other cars.

What year and trim level was it in? I’ve had mine out several times and never saw a pioneer sticker, that I noticed.
