I have a question...once i do get a new key for my snugtop, which seems to fit in the key shaft, i cant seem to lock it. The key goes all the way into the lock, but does not turn inside. are there any tricks to locking it or is my key no good? i matched the codes from the lock to a key dealer on ebay who sells camper shell keys.

probably key no good. If you have the number on the lock I would order it through Snugtop. coming from ebay may not necessarily be the exact match.

or you could just buy a new lock/key set
