By June I'll need to replace my michelin ms2's, plenty of tread but the sidewalls are cracking so much they're starting to concern me. I'll post some pictures when I have time but I'm wondering what a lower cost option could be for replacing these? I'm 99% on road and I want something relatively quiet but good in rain and snow. My first choice right now is the cooper at3, I can get those installed for under $700 where the ms2's installed will be around $900.

Will I be dissapointed with the at3's after having the michelins for years? Any other suggestions?

Well, I found a deal for some toyo open country II's, installed and alignment for $709.98 Every other estimate I've gotten for all but budget tires has been $800 or above. I had the original open country's on my 01 way back and they worked fairly well, I hope I'm not too dissappointed with these compared with my ms2's.
