Replacing power steering pressure line- 2002 Tacoma 3.4 4WD need some advice

    I haven't had to do a tacoma yet. Generally, low pressure hose has hose clamps. High pressure one won't. What I always do is replace the low pressure one with new hose clamps, even if only the high pressure one is leaking. Take pictures, then take off the high pressure one, any place that makes custom hydraulic hose assemblies can fix you up, usually for way cheaper than a dealer part. I have them weld fittings on, so next time its a simple unscrew, screw on repair. Pictures help so they know where you'll need room for wrenches.

    A few
    Use flare nut wrenches on steel lines and always hand tighten first few threads .Very easy to cross thread.
