Replacing Steering Rack

    I know this is an old thread. I just removed my rack to get the bushing replaced and the b-nut was frozen to the line on the pressure side. I had to remove the line from the pump and twist it from up there to get it to unscrew from my rack. I then twisted S**t of it trying to break that B-nut free. I ran into the same high dollar solutions I've seen in this thread. I was able to take the old line to a Hydraulic hose shop where they cut off the fittings and made me a new line from them in 20 minutes for 75$. Just this guys solution to the same problem.

    hopefully someone can answer if the racks off the 5 lug, 6 lug, 2wd and 4wd tacos are interchangeable

    I had my steering rack replaced on my '03 last year and now the turning radius sucks. The place that did it swore up and down that they installed an OEM part, but I have my doubts. Anyone else have this issue?
