When going through my steering system yesterday and making note of what to replace, I noticed that my steering shaft / yoke had a lot of play in it. For example, my steering wheel was turned 90* to the left before the wheels would react. The dust cover on the shaft where it meets the firewall was completely gone and the u-joint looked very bad.

Has anyone replaced this? I'm having a tough time finding a write up for a first gen truck.

Link to the part in question: Number 18 in the diagram. Part number is 45290-35040
