Replacing stock tires with 285/60-17

    Anyone have experience with this size -285/60-17. Plan to mount on aftermarket 17x8" wheels with 10mm offset. Intention is to improve handling and keep stock diameter and ride height without a radical look. Appreciate any comments.

    Welcome to TW. I've never heard of anyone running that size, likely because its a 30.5" tire, and you can fit 31.5" tires without a lift.

    265/70/17 looks pretty good on a stock height tacoma. you have plenty of option at this size and it's guaranteed to fit.
