    Hello all,

So yesterday my wife backed my truck, 2021 Tacoma SR5 double cab into a parked car. The damage is very minor but I would like your opinion on the matter.

the passenger tail light is cracked, with a large piece missing out of it. The rear bumper does not appear to be damaged, however it definitely shifted. Instead of having equal spacing on either side with the frame, the drivers side has about a 1” gap, where the passenger side is almost touching the frame. (If that makes sense, I can add pictures later if need be)

As far as the tail light goes, I’m going to have it replaced. I can get a factory replacement for around 139$. I’m just curious, if there is any aftermarket tail lights I should be considering? I’m not against upgrading at this point.

With the bumper, is it possible to loosen it up and simply realign?

thank you all for your help!

    Ryan

The bumper can be realigned. Also check the bed alignment too. if you're around the Charlotte NC area I have an extra set of TRD Pro tailights if you want them lol

Thank you for the offer, unfortunately I’m up in Rochester NY.

I’m really trying to avoid going through insurance (500$ deductible). I’m hoping I can realign, and install the new tail light myself. As for checking the bed alignment, I’ll probably bring it to my local mechanic. I wouldn’t know where to begin with inspecting that.

    thanks again!
